How Does Tailwind Create Work?
Tailwind has made it super easy to use their new Tailwind Create feature. Once you’ve signed into your account, click on the paintbrush icon in the left menu to enter Tailwind Create. Then, with the following easy steps, you’ll be ready to schedule and publish your pins.
Step 1: Set Up Your Brand Components
Before you begin creating pins, you’ll want to enter some brand guidelines. You can select your color palette, or choose colors from curated color combinations, including palettes such as “Sunday Morning”, “Berries & Cream”, or “Saltwater Taffy.” Then, select your preferred default fonts, and upload your logo files.

Step 2: Input Your Post Info
First, enter your destination link — the url link that links to your specific blog post, product, or other content. Next, wait for Tailwind Create to process your link (this literally takes like a second!). Your Pint title will automatically fill in. Finally, you’ll want to select your images.
There are three different ways to load images into your Tailwind Create Pins. First, you can directly upload your own branded photos. Second, you can choose the Stock Photo tab and the put in a search word. The program will populate Royalty Free stock images that fit your search term. Lastly, you can choose the URL tab and the program will automatically pull any and all images from your destination link. (Are you excited yet, because this is seriously awesome!).
Step 3: Select or Edit Your Pin Art
Tailwind Create will auto-generate a variety of Pinterest-worthy graphics. Yes, you read that correctly. Like, it will totally make beautiful pin graphics for you! And you can customize each one until you get YOUR perfect pin. Want to change a color? Want to change your headline? What to resize your headline or your photo? Want to add some additional elements? No problem! There are limitless ways you can customize any of your Pins.
Once your done customizing, simply select the Pin graphics you want to schedule on Tailwind. You’ll be taken directly to your drafts page, with your newly made Pin graphics already loaded and ready for you! You also have the option to download your selected graphics as well!
