DESCRIPTION:One of the community’s favorite fall events and a “must-see” for visitors!   \nJoin us for Spook-tacular Fun on Saturday\, October 18\, 2025 for the annual Scarecrows March Down Mainstreet.  Bring the family to enjoy\, vote\, and yes\, even marvel at the creativity that comes out each year in the form of these fantastical scarecrows!  We have close to 60 scarecrows that adorn our Main Street each fall – and something new in store for 2025 that we can’t wait to see ourselves! \nWe invite you between 11:00an -4pm on Saturday the 18th to stroll through the downtown and vote on your favorites.  In addition\, we will have snacks\, music\, and other Halloween-themed treats. \nScarecrows stay up until Halloween to keep the ghosts and goblins at bay! \nFor Our Middletown Folks that Want to Make a Scarecrow:  \nTo participate in this uniquely Middletown event\, go to the Municipal Center at 31 West Main Street on Monday\, September 29\, to pick up your Scarecrow Kit.  We have 60 kits – first come\, first served. \nBring your finished Scarecrow up to Town Hall no later than Friday\, October 17h\, 2025 at 5:30pm.   We can’t wait to see what you all dream up for 2025!
