DESCRIPTION:One of the community’s favorite fall events and a “must-see” for visitors!   \nEnjoy a Spook-tacular Fun on Saturday\, October 19\, 2024 for the annual Scarecrows March Down Mainstreet. Bring the family to enjoy\, vote\, and yes\, even marvel at the creativity that comes out each year in the form of these fantastical scarecrows!  Nearly 60 scarecrows adorn our Main Street each fall! \nCome by between 12-4pm on Saturday the 19th to stroll through the downtown and vote on your favorites. In addition\, there will be snacks\, music\, and other Halloween-themed treats. \nScarecrows stay up until Halloween to keep the ghosts and goblins at bay! \nFor Middletown Folks that Want to Make a Scarecrow:  \nTo participate in this uniquely Middletown event\, come visit the Welcome Center at 19 West Main Street on Monday\, September 30th to pick up your Scarecrow Kit.  Only 60 kits available – first come\, first served. \nBring your finished Scarecrow up to Town Hall no later than Friday\, October 18th\, 2024 at 5:30pm. \nLearn more here!
