Tables and chairs for exhibitors are provided. \n​This year’s Summit will feature Ali Syverson’s solo art exhibit\, REALMS\, which explores the phenomena and art that the ecosphere offers to us in its natural state. More about Ali and her art: alisyversonart.com. \nFirst Lego League Innovation Challenge. This year\, we’ll have a team of 5th\, 6th and 7th graders from Urbana who have designed a presentation using technology and art to raise awareness about the dangers of global warming. A virtual option will also be available for those who cannot attend in person. \nDuring the panel discussion\, participants will hear firsthand from women in science share their perspectives on pursuing careers in science\, advancing allyship and mentorship\, achieving goals through self-advocacy\, and more. Afterward\, there will be a networking opportunity available to in-person participants. \n“Women in Science Speak\,” is a hybrid event in partnership with Woman to Woman Mentoring\, a local non-profit as well as Hood College\, a local private college who we have supported for many years.
