All Saints Street served as the center of Frederick’s African American community until the early 1960s. \nGuests will learn about the community’s history while walking through All Saints Street and nearby areas. \nThe AARCH Society African American History Walking Tour lasts approximately 60 to 90 minutes. Tour groups remain small\, allowing guests to enjoy a more personal learning experience. \nEach tour allows up to 15 participants. The route covers fairly even walking surfaces. Organizers will hold the tour during light rain or sunshine. Tour groups remain small\, allowing guests to enjoy a more personal learning experience. \nEach tour allows up to 15 participants. The route covers fairly even walking surfaces. Organizers will hold the tour during light rain or sunshine. Guests will receive an email if severe weather forces a cancellation. \nTour highlights include: \n\nFrederick’s African American history\nThe cultural importance of All Saints Street\nStories from the surrounding neighborhood\nHistoric sites and community landmarks\nA guided walk led by AARCH Society volunteers\n\nThe AARCH Society African American History Walking Tour welcomes teens\, adults\, members\, and community groups. \nGuests may not record video or audio during the tour. \n  \nLEARN MORE!
