Once you take the quiz, make your cocktail! Here are the classic recipes for these cocktails so you can make a new one or try them all. Let us know what answer you got and if you liked the cocktail.
The Recipe:
Manhattan
- 2 ounces rye whiskey
- 1 ounce Sweet Vermouth
- 2 dashes of bitters
- 1 maraschino cherry for garnish
Put Rye, Sweet Vermouth and Bitters into a a class with ice and stir well. Strain into a glass (1 large ice cube is optional) and garnish with cherry.
Old Fashioned
- 1 Large Ice Cube
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3 dashes bitters
- 1 teaspoon water
- 2 ounces bourbon (or rye whiskey, if preferred)
- Orange twist to Garnish
Add Sugar, Bitters and water to a glass. Stir until sugar dissolves. Pour mixture and Bourbon over an ice cube into the glass, squeeze the orange twist and put into glass. You can also has a maraschino cherry!
Cosmopolitan
- 1 ½ ounces vodka
- ¼ ounce lime juice
- ¼ ounce triple sec
- ¼ ounce cranberry juice
- 1 lime wedge for garnish
Add Vodka, Triple Sec, lime juice, and cranberry juice into a shaker with ice. Shake until chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a lime wedge.
Moscow Mule
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1/2 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
- 3 ounces ginger beer, chilled
- Garnish: lime wedge
Fill copper Mule mug with ice, add Vodka and lime juice. Top off with ginger bear and add your lime wedge for garnish.
Margarita
- 2 ounces tequila
- 1 ounce triple sec
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1/2 Simple syrup
- Garnish: lime wheel
- Garnish: kosher salt or sugar
Fill a shaker with ice, add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and simple syrup and shake till chilled. rub your lime wedge on the rim of the glass then dip into salt or sugar. Pour in mixture and add your lime wedge.
Gin & Tonic
- 2 ounces gin
- 4 ounces tonic water
- Garnish: Lime wedge
Fill glass with ice and pour Gin. Add tonic and srit gently then add your lime.
