Our LOCAL Issue is coming up — and we’re celebrating Local Changemakers making a real difference in the community.
We’re now accepting nominations for women in the Frederick region who are making significant contributions and creating meaningful impact where they live and work. From Social Workers and Chamber of Commerce Leaders to Community Outreach Coordinators and everyone in between, we want to spotlight the women helping our community grow stronger and more connected.
To be eligible, nominees must work in their field full-time (not as a side hustle) and have at least one year of experience in their profession.
Nominations close July 27th—submit below and help us celebrate these incredible Local Changemakers.

Sass Magazine’s Top Women program celebrates local women making a difference in their industries and communities. With each themed issue, we shine a spotlight on women excelling in a field that matches the issue’s focus.
How It Works:
- Nomination Process: Anyone can nominate a woman they believe is doing amazing work in the featured industry.
- Selection Criteria: Our editorial team reviews nominations based on the details provided in the submission, their contributions to their field and community, and supporting information like their website or professional accomplishments.
- Recognition: The selected Top Women are listed in the front pages of the magazine, including their headshot, name, title, business, and website.

Being named a Sass Magazine Top Woman is more than just a feature in the magazine—it’s a celebration of excellence. Our Top Woman are also recognized at a Sass Girls Night Out event, where we honor their achievements and connect them with the community.
