In The Streets 2025, sponsored by Pella Mid-Atlantic Windows & Doors, returns to Downtown Frederick on Saturday, September 13, 2025, celebrating over 40 years of community, culture, and fun. Attracting more than 75,000 visitors each year, this iconic street festival transforms Market Street and Carroll Creek Urban Park into a vibrant celebration of Frederick’s diverse food, music, art, and businesses.

What to Expect:

Market Street Mile (9:00 AM): A one-mile road race for beginners and competitive runners alike.
Festival Experience (11:00 AM – 5:00 PM): Explore themed blocks of entertainment, local vendors, and community showcases stretching from Carroll Creek to 7th Street.
Craft Beverage Experience (Noon – 5:00 PM): Sample selections from Frederick’s best breweries, wineries, and distilleries.
Live Entertainment: Six stages featuring nonstop performances from local and regional talent.
Frederick’s Finest Food: Restaurants bring their kitchens to the street, offering a taste of the city’s culinary scene.
Up The Creek Party (5:00 PM – 9:00 PM): Keep the celebration going with Frederick’s official after-party, featuring live music and more food and drinks along Carroll Creek.

First held in 1983, In The Streets began as a way to bring the community together after Market Street underwent major renovations. Today, it remains one of Frederick County’s most beloved events, offering attendees the chance to explore historic downtown while enjoying all the region has to offer.
