Slideshow Night
This is a personal favorite of mine. Everyone creates a slideshow on a topic of their choice (the crazier the better) and presents it to the group. You’ll probably have lots of laughs during the presentations, and maybe learn something new!
Cooking Competition
Think Cake Boss or Iron Chef. Decide what you want everyone to make, split the group into teams, and get cooking. If there are people who don’t enjoy cooking or baking, they can be the judges.
Poker Night
Heighten the stakes of your Girl’s Night In with some gambling. You can give your house the real “casino” feel with a poker table or just stick to the basics. There are many simple poker games that everyone can easily learn. Whether you’re betting real money, or just playing with chips, poker night is always fun. Plus, there are s0oo many fun and cute decks!
Karaoke
Who doesn’t love singing their favorite songs? If you and your friends are serious singers, have a competition for the best performance and see who’s the best singer! You can even up the ante with a fun karaoke microphone.
Paint/Craft Night
There are lots of different avenues you can go down with a craft night. If there’s a friend that is skilled at painting, drawing, sewing, etc. expert, have them teach a skill to the whole group. Or you can hire an expert to give everyone a tutorial!
Murder Mystery Party
There’s nothing that can bring you and your friends closer together quite like solving a mystery. Order a kit and work together to solve which one of you is the murderer! It may seem silly, but truly getting into character creates more fun. You can also try an escape room game which are so fun and little less commitment!
A Themed “Board” Night
Pick a theme for your charcuterie boards like movies, books, or songs that you and your friends all have a shared interest in. Then, each person will create a food board or spread relating to the topic or theme. It’s sort of like a more organized potluck with a theme!
Book Club
This is a great way to make Girl’s Night In a recurring event. Book club is as easy as picking a book, deciding how often to meet, and how much to read in between. You can switch who hosts each meeting, so the pressure isn’t on one person!
Spa Night
Chances are, you and your girls have busy lives and need some relaxation. Spa nights are perfect for winding down and having some quality time with friends. Everyone can bring their spa items to share, or you can buy spa kits for a more professional feel.
Everyone needs girl’s nights. Socializing with close friends is good for you! Whether you choose one of these ideas or combine them, you’ll be sure to have a great time.
