Wedding Walk
The Downtown Wedding Walk is a unique way to showcase some of the amazing wedding venues and vendors that we have locally. Participants will stroll between 6 Downtown venues (including the brand new venue, The Banyan!), which will each be set up as if a real wedding is taking place, and with a variety of vendors showcased at each location. A creative afternoon full of wedding-planning inspiration!
After the fully immersive wedding walk experience, participants are encouraged to gather at Colonial Jewelers for the annual Cake Dig, sponsored by Sage Cakery, at 2pm. This year the Cake Dig will be done a bit differently, so stick around to see the fun – and for a chance to win raffle prizes. Haven’t attended our annual Cake Dig before? Even more reason to join us! The Cake Dig is when we invite a selection of brides and grooms from our Wedding Walk participants to come on stage and dig through a long wedding cake made by Sage Cakery to find the plastic Diamond and win more prizes. This event is always tons of fun, whether you’re digging or watching.
Finish touring the venues early? Grab a bite or a drink at participating downtown dining establishments, where you can find specials and discounts for showing your Wedding Walk passport, before circling back for the Cake Dig. Participating locations to be announced.
