Frederick Maple Syrup Festival

Learn about the tradition of making maple syrup at this year’s Maple Syrup Festival at Cunningham Falls State Park! The event will take place on two weekends in March – March 9-10 and March 16-17.
Hosted by the Friends of Cunningham Falls State Park and Gambrill State Park, this event has been a staple in Frederick County for more than 50 years!
This annual event highlights the history of maple syrup in Maryland. The event includes opportunities to see maple syrup demonstrations, delicious breakfast items with locally-made maple syrup, and much, much more.
Proceeds from the Maple Syrup Festival benefit the nonprofit Friends of Cunningham Falls and Gambrill State Parks. The park opens at 9 a.m. and closes at sunset. Pets are permitted on a leash, outside only. This event is ADA accessible. Visitors may call 301-271-7574 for more information.
