Frederick’s Oktoberfest: Friday Night
Kick off Frederick’s Oktoberfest with live music, German traditions, food, beer, and dancing at the Frederick Fairgrounds! Friday night welcomes adults ages 21 and older for an energetic start to the annual celebration.
The Reagan Years will bring popular 1980s hits to the stage throughout the evening. Guests can also enjoy German music, dancing, authentic food, vendors, and seasonal drinks.
Frederick’s Oktoberfest celebrates the county’s German heritage while supporting local charities and community programs.

Guests must be at least 21 years old to attend Friday’s event. Organizers will not admit children or infants during the adults-only celebration. Guests wearing an authentic dirndl or lederhosen can receive free admission. German T-shirts, hats, and partial costumes do not qualify for free admission. Frederick’s Oktoberfest offers several ticket packages during the early sales periods. Guests who purchase stein packages will receive an empty commemorative stein at the gate.
Ticket holders must collect reserved steins before 8 p.m. for guaranteed availability.
