The Frederick Speaker series presents New York Times bestselling author and social commentator Walter Mosley! ✨ Join us for an evening of enlightening discourse and meaningful conversation at the Weinberg Center for the Arts on April 30.

On the page, his work spans more than 60 books across genres including mystery, science fiction, young adult, nonfiction, graphic novels, and erotica. He is also a dynamic presence in film and television, having served as Executive Producer and writer for FX’s Snowfall and The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey on Apple TV+.

Beyond the page, Mosley is known for his deep insight on race, justice, and American society whose personal background—growing up in Los Angeles with Black and Jewish heritage—gives his commentary a singular authenticity.
