Sass Wellness Challenge Week 5 :: Hydrate 8

Hydration isn’t just about quenching thirst — it’s foundational to how our bodies function, feel, and show up each day. For women especially, staying properly hydrated plays a key role in energy levels, digestion, skin health, hormone balance, and even mood. Yet, with busy schedules, endless to-do lists, and a tendency to put ourselves last, hydration is often one of the first wellness habits to slip.

As women, our bodies experience natural fluctuations due to hormones, stress, and life stages — all of which can increase our need for water. Dehydration can show up as fatigue, headaches, bloating, brain fog, or dry skin, making everyday life feel harder than it needs to be. The good news? Something as simple as drinking enough water can make a noticeable difference in how you feel, think, and move through your day.

That’s why, with only two weeks left in the Sass Wellness Challenge, we’re turning our focus to one of the most impactful (and underrated) wellness habits: hydration.

Week 5 Challenge: Hydrate 8

This week’s challenge is simple but powerful: drink a minimum of eight glasses of water per day.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve taken a holistic approach to wellness — focusing on relaxation, healthy eating, sleep habits, and movement. Hydration ties it all together, supporting every other habit you’ve been building.

What counts as a glass of water?

For this challenge, one glass equals 12 oz of water.

Do other drinks count?

For Week 5, we’re keeping the focus on water. While you can enjoy other beverages throughout the day, completing the challenge means drinking eight full glasses of water.

Need help tracking your intake?

We recommend the super user-friendly Daily Water app to help you stay on track. Plus, we’ve created a Pinterest Inspiration Board filled with hydration tips, benefits of drinking water, and flavored water recipes to keep things interesting.

Joining late? No problem.

You can jump in right here with Week 5 or start back at Week 1 — whatever works best for you.

Don’t forget to share your progress on Facebook or Instagram and use #SassWellnessChallenge to be entered to win one of our prizes. Hydrate, post, repeat — your body will thank you.
