The benefits of drinking tea

Tea can be dated back as early as 2737 BC during Emperor Shen Nong’s rule according to Chinese legend. Since then, there has been a rise in appriciation of teas, not just for their delicacy in taste but also their powerful healing benefits.

Just like coffee has different beans, teas also have their assortments. Some come as leaves, others a variety of herbs and plants. With this, black, green, matcha, white and herbal teas have different benefits associated with each.

Black Tea

Black teas are the most common, offering multiple layers of benefits. From cardiovascular support in lowering cholesterol, decreasing risks of heart disease and hypertension to providing anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties.

Oolong Tea

Oolong Teas are partially oxidized. Oolong teas are great for aiding in weight loss, lowering risk of Type 2 Diabetes, strokes, and heart diseases. It can also help with eczema and even improve sleep.

White Tea

White Teas are less processed, giving them a rich antioxidant profile with anti-inflammatory properties,  high antioxidants and relatively low caffeine content. This makes them particularly effective in fighting free radicals and offering potential cancer-preventing benefits.

Great Tea
