What do you think has helped you the most with your success?
I am authentic and always unapologetically me. I believe that has helped me to get to this point. And I believe that my true purpose is to give to others and inspire them, and it seems the universe has always ensured that I keep moving forward in the right direction. Also, of course, although I am very spiritual, nothing comes without lots of hard work and tenacity.
What has been the biggest challenge you have overcome in order to achieve your goals?
It was quite a challenge being a young woman in an industry dominated by older males. There is a time for that masculine energy, and it is necessary, but it wasn’t easy for a young woman to get started.
What are you most proud of?
I am really proud of always having believed in myself, regardless of outside opinions. This goes for everything from business, to my love life, to motherhood, and everything else.
What are three pieces of advice you could give to our readers?
Be true to yourself, be authentic to the outside world and just GO FOR IT!
You inspire us, but what/who are YOU inspired by?
Everyone I meet inspires me. It can be the Uber driver, the co-worker in my office, my family and friends and the random person we engage with on an outing. I believe every human being has a book inside of them and if we take the time to be open to always meeting new people and mindsets, it can only enhance us as individuals.
What is one sassy saying or quote that inspires you? Why?
“To truly achieve success, shut off your mind, take out your heart and place it in your hands.” I heard this from the Founder of Jaipur Rugs Foundation and I just really resonated with the message.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Never give up – life is a rollercoaster, and that is what makes it beautiful. Without the downs, we wouldn’t appreciate the ups.
