12 Easy and Unique Recipes for Christmas Cookies

Cook platter with holiday and christmas cookies

I don’t bake a lot. By that I mean I bake once a year to make Christmas cookies and every year I remember it’s hard! Cleaning up takes so long and one recipe never works like it’s supposed to. The reason I have been so adamant about making Christmas cookies every December since I was a pre-teen, is because of my fond memories of cooking with my mother and grandmother growing up. It was a holiday tradition that we baked, we decorated cookies, the kids got bored and then we would leave halfway through to go play games. We loved doing it nonetheless.

While I still find myself overwhelmed by the cleaning up and upset by the flat batch of chocolate chip cookies, I still love doing it. They make a perfect, affordable gift for the office, aunts and uncles, friends, and people you want to show a little appreciation to.

I often make 3 – 4 different kinds of cookies to give out, take to parties, and enjoy at home. Here are some fabulous recipes that will build your holiday spirit and be a hit with anyone you gift them to!
