Wellness. It’s something we all know we need to strive for, but when it comes to consistently implementing in our daily lives, we often get lost. However, no matter how hard it is to stick to your wellness journey, the outcome is worth every bit of effort. When you’ve developed a wellness routine that fits your needs, you just feel more, well, well!

But seriously, using your best wellness practices day in and day out can have SO many benefits, from higher levels of energy and more mental clarity to clearer skin and a more healthy body. So, whether you haven’t started your wellness journey yet or need a boost to get on your wellness game, here’s some wellness inspiration.

Wellness is not a one and done thing like we might often think of it as. In order to gain true wellness benefits, you need to develop a routine and stick to it. As the quote above reminds us, you can’t just do all the wellness activities you can think of at once in hopes it’ll help you lead a more well life. For example, if you’re on the brink of burnout, one day of self-care then continuing to work at an unsustainable pace is not going to keep the burnout at bay.

If you don’t have a wellness routine in place already, this is your sign to develop one and stick with what works for you! Your wellness routine won’t be perfect right at the beginning and you may fall off the wagon, but consistency truly is key when it comes to your wellness.

“You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress” – Sophia Bush

Think of the best version of yourself. The version that is in a career she loves, enjoys a balanced life outside of work, and, above all else, takes care of her well-being. When you think of this version of yourself, you think she is living a great life. You love her for all the greatness she represents in this life. However, being perfect isn’t the first thing to come to mind in this image, right?

This version of you can be beautiful, but she has flaws like the rest of us. So if you can love this version of yourself, you can love the current version of yourself! At the end of the day, this current version of yourself has built the life experiences to get herself where she is, has a vision of where she wants to be, and ultimately is going to help bridge the gap between the two.

So, this is your reminder to love yourself through every step of the wellness journey. No matter where you’re at right now, you are magnificent even as you’re working to better yourself.

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” – Albert Einstein

*When you fall off the bike, get back up and continue again. You’ll never be perfect and that’s okay as long as you keep moving*

This last dose of wellness inspiration is arguably the most crucial one. Because without continuing to move on your bicycle, you’ll get nowhere. Therefore, on days you feel like the balance has been thrown off in your wellness journey (maybe by taking a cheat day on a diet or putting in way more hours caring for others than caring for yourself), remember to just keep moving.

We’re human beings and we’ll never be perfect. That’s one of the core truths of our lives as humans. However, it’s this imperfection that makes us so uniquely interesting and adds spice to our lives. So, when you feel like you’ve fallen off the wellness bike, remember to get up again! Just keep moving towards your goals by utilizing balance in everything you do.

Have all these wellness tips left you fired up to strengthen your wellness journey? Then what are you waiting for?! Get out there and strive towards your most well life by taking consistent yet imperfect steps towards your wellness goal!
