Tell us a little about yourself and your story.
I’m Chelsea Kershaw, CEO of Digi Ink PR and co-owner of the Lionheart brand family with my husband, Sean. My story is rooted in hustle, authenticity, and faith. I’ve always believed in showing up fully, building genuine relationships, and creating opportunities rather than waiting for them. We started my PR agency with just one client, and through persistence and trust in the process, we’ve grown to work with incredible brands like Sony, Boost Mobile, and many others.
How did you get to where you are today?
Honestly, through hustle, trust, and authenticity. I’ve never been afraid to put in the work, but it’s also about being intentional. Sean has been a huge part of this journey; his leadership, belief in me, and our shared faith in God have grounded me when things got tough.
What do you think has helped you the most with your success?
Relationships and resilience. PR is about people, it’s the trust you build, the way you follow through, and the way you adapt when things don’t go as planned. Being real and authentic has always opened more doors for me than any pitch deck ever could.
What has been the biggest challenge you have overcome in order to achieve your goals?
Learning to quiet the doubt. It’s easy to question yourself when you’re building something from the ground up. I had to push past the “What if I fail?” and instead trust myself, trust Sean, and trust God’s plan.
What are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of Digi Ink PR. What started as a one-client agency has grown into a team working with brands I once dreamed about. Building something that not only supports clients but also provides opportunities for others is the kind of legacy I want to leave.
What are three pieces of advice you could give to our readers?
- Hustle, but make sure it’s aligned with your purpose.
- Build relationships rooted in authenticity, they’ll take you farther than anything else.
- Trust yourself and your gut more than the doubts in your head.
You inspire us, but what/who are YOU inspired by?
I’m inspired by young entrepreneurs who are just starting out. I began my career in PR at 18, and I remember being so hungry to learn, to grow, and to do more. I love seeing that same drive and spark in others, it reminds me of where I started and pushes me to keep that same fire alive in my own work.
How do you reward yourself when you’ve reached a goal or after a hard day of work?
Jacuzzi nights! We’ll sit outside, talk about the wins of the day, decompress, and of course hang out with our Italian Mastiffs, Thor, Loki and Flash. That’s my version of pure joy. I am a homebody at heart!
What is one sassy saying or quote that inspires you? Why?
“Work hard in silence, let success make the noise.” It’s a reminder to keep my head down, stay authentic, and let the results speak for themselves. In PR and in life, consistency always wins.
